OUR STORY
A single security officer. A national ambition.
The company was established in 2013 with a single security officer in Sasolburg in the Free State. Moses Netshisaulu, the majority shareholder and the vision bearer behind the brand, resigned his employment in July 2014 to pursue his entrepreneurial dream of growing Ndaka Security into a viable entity.
Today Ndaka Security has over 450 employees in five provinces of South Africa — North West, Free State, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal. Our service offerings extend to guarding, consulting, technical services, risk assessments, investigations, crowd control, special events, escort services, VIP protection, and tactical and armed response.

2013
Ndaka Security is established with a single security officer in Sasolburg, Free State.
2014
Founder Moses Netshisaulu resigns his employment to grow Ndaka Security full time.
2018
Operations expand beyond the Free State into Gauteng and North West.
2021
Technical services and a 24/7 control room broaden the integrated offering.
Today
Over 450 employees across five provinces, headquartered on the West Rand of Johannesburg.

Ndaka Security has four executives inclusive of the Managing Director, one non-executive director and a diverse operations and shared service team.
Moses Netshisaulu
Managing Director
Moses is a business executive with over 42 years experince in security risk management. His career spans multiple sectors dating back to 1978 in the mining sector.
Moses holds a Diploma in Security Management and has completed various certificate courses in modern methods of managing Security risk including National Key Point and SAMTRAC. Moses joined a large petrochemical company in 1985 and rose to Head of Security, a role he held for 16 years before founding Ndaka Security in 2013.
Mandla Tatana
Executive: HR & Corporate Affairs
Mandla is post graduate business executive with over 20 years business management experience. Mandla’s career spreads across FMCG/ Supply Chain, Logistics, Auto Manufacturing, SOEs industries and now Private Security. Before joining Ndaka, Mandla served as an executive director for companies in Logistics, Auto Manufacturing and Private Security.
Luthando Davids
Corporate Financial Manager
He is a Business Accountant, Tax professional and an Internal Auditor by qualification. Luthando’s experience lies in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, treasury management, auditing, taxation, and financial management related matters. He worked for an accounting firm in Randburg from 2004 to 2006 and then join a private security company. Luthando joined Ndaka Security in June 2021.
Gotye Kituka
HOD: Corporate Services
Gotye is an expert in the security industry with a career that span more than 15 years. He boasts a degree in Cost and Management Accounting and Master of Data Science. He has extensive experience in costing, internal and external audit, financial management and Tax to mention a few.
Dirk Nel
Contract Manager
With more than 20 years’ experience in the Security Industry, Dirk has expanded his skillset significantly across various business sectors. He predominantly worked in the Retail and Mining sector with some of the Country’s leading corporate pioneers. He acted in several key Senior management / Executive roles from a young age. Dirk is passionate about Safety management and concluded a few short courses at NOSA, which included Samtrac, Itis and others to name a few. He studied Safety Management at Unisa and is pursuing his financial studies to broaden his expertise in Security Financial Risk.
Mpho Khlo
Security Area Manager
Mpho started his career as a Junior Security Officer at Natref. He obtained his Security Management training through Unisa in 1992. He was promoted to Chief of Security at Natref in 2003 and in 2006 he furthered his studies in Security Management through NIA. To further bolster his skills, he obtained his qualification in advance Industrial Relations at NWU in 2009.
